A Day at the Lake!

On Friday, some friends of ours invited us to Morse Resovoir to spend the day on the lake! We enjoyed a fun time with great fellowship! A HUGE thank you to the wonderful Knisley's for hosting us and opening up their amazing home! It was a perfect day!

Above: Cy and Ben are waiting patiently for a boat ride!
Playing in the pool!
There were SO many things to do, you wouldn't believe it!

Becides the pool and boat there were 2 waverunners...we also enjoyed tubing and wakeboarding! One of the biggest hits of the day...a SLUSHIE MACHINE!!! (It was so cool!)Nice rack, Nolan! :) hehe

Cy has become quite the little fish this summer. He is jumping in by himself and even going completely underwater all by himself!!!! He loved all of the balls in this pool!

Sweet Berkley and Nolan, waiting for their mommies to get back from their boatride!

Craig took Brady and Cy out on the waverunner! Cy was a little nervous since it was his first time out on one, but he really enjoyed it!

Cy and Brady, "fishing" with a net and cup!

We ended the day with a nice dip in the pool and pizza for dinner! We were all exhausted by the end of the evening, both kids were asleep before we got home and slept great all night...Nolan slept in until 10:30 Saturday morning! haha!

Look What We Found!

We saw this awesome car parked in Walmart Parking lot, so we HAD to stop and look at it!
My first thought when we stopped to take a pic. was "OH, MAN! Cy doesn't have a shirt!" (we had just come from the pool) and then I thought...we are looking at a nascar, I think he is dressed appropriately! :) haha!
(LOVE their silly faces...this is Cy's favorite thing to do these days and he thinks he is HILARIOUS!)

Let's go to the Zoo!

We woke up Monday morning with no plans and nothing to do, so...Why not go to the Zoo?! The first thing we did was ride the carousel, Cy's favorite thing! It was Nolan's first time to ride and it was HILARIOUS! He was smiling, laughing and saying "Ohhh, oooooooohhhhhh, ooohh!" accompanied with shakes of excitement...he LOVED it!

We got there early and beat the heat and the crowd!

So SLEEEEEPY!

Baby!

I think this is one of the coolest pictures ever! We were the only ones in the dome and this dolphin was swimming around us alot!

Cy had a great time...he looks so big sitting here, watching the Lemurs

Mezmorized by the seals!

Clapping for the seals!

Cy took this pic. :)

We ready to head back to the Zoo, Papaw and Mamaw Black, and Great Papaw Black...we are looking forward to taking you guys SOON!!!!!! :)

What a Mess!

Nolan found his way into the kitchen, into the lazy susan, and into the doughnuts!
He had taken bites out of almost every single one and they were ALLLLLL over the floor!
As I rounded the corner to see what he was into, he quickly grabbed as many as he could and stuffed them into his mouth!
Seriously, there was no way I could be mad at that face...he's got me wrapped around his little finger! :)
Sweet, dirty little boy! HAHA!

While I'm posting I would like to announce that Nolan is ALMOST WALKING! He is taking 5 or so steps at a time and last night we were at Aunt Cindy and Uncle Doug's house for dinner and he took 5-6 steps!
Here comes TROUBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

VBS 2011

My room...Bondi Beach, Australia

Cy, surfing!
Beach BUM!

Nolan LOVED Boomer! He got to spend special time with him before the show...unfortunately I didn't get any pics. on my camera! There were pictures of him on the VBS slideshow, so I will find it and post soon!

Of course, Boomer came to visit us on Wednesday! He is SO much fun to watch and the kids go CRAZY, which is even more fun!

Aunt Abbie and Cy watching Boomer!

Closing ceremony, singing "Jesus Loves Me!"

"...He is STRONG"!!!

The BIBLE tells me so!

Well, what can I say, VBS was AWESOME! It was my first year to co-teach and it was a life changing experience! It was so great to spend special time with children of our church, of other churches in Indianapolis, and especially with children whom have no church home at all! I was really excited to have Cy in my class on Friday, when we also had our closing ceremony! Cy really surprised me by singing almost every word to every song, with EVERY motion! (and once pulling his shirt up and exposing his full, tan little belly!) I thank the Lord, for calling me to be a part of Vacation Bible School this year! He really did someting to my heart! :)

Enjoy some videos of the closing ceremony...don't mind my cracking up in the background, Cy was too cute and I couldn't contain my happiness!!! :)

Celebrating FREEDOM!

To celebrate July 4, we went to visit my Dad and Cathy in Marion! Cathy's son Charlie and his wife and girls were home from a LONG stay in Turkey and visiting before they move to Guam!!! It was great to spend time with everyone! Uncle Randy even came over to hang out and play ball with Cy! :)
A little chair for the "little" guy!
Little Monkey

Cy, Nolan, Ashlyn and Catherine

We went to watch fireworks later on in the evening and the kids had a blast playing with sparklers! Waiting for the fireworks to start!

Cy is nowhere to be found in most of these pictures...he was TOO busy running around and playing with Catherine!

Watching the fireworks

It was lightening a little during the fireworks show and I got this cool picture!

It was seriously the BEST fireworks show I have ever seen! Great Job, Marion!!!

We had the best seats in the house!

The whole crew!

We had a great day!!!
