Baseball, baseball, baseball!!!

We found the Oscar Mayer Weinermobile!!!
I LOVE hotdogs and couldn't resist the photo opt.
Daddy playes in a baseball league on Sunday afternoons. His team is called the Tigers and I LOVE going to watch them play! Occasionally I'll shout out "You play ball like a girl!!!" (which is one of my favorite quotes from the movie The Sandlot-I however am no longer allowed to watch this movie because of some other not-so-nice quotes that I have picked up along the way!) Those lines being "You're just a bunch of rejects!" and "Shut up, Porter!" and one other that we won't repeat!
Anyway, last Sunday I got to go onto the field and run the bases after the game was over!
"Pitch to me, Grandpa!!!!!"

We finished the week off in Siesta Key with Grandma and Grandpa Cole, Aunt Abbie, Scotty and a few other family friends. We had a great time at the Beach in Siesta Key! And I had a blast playing baseball in the sand. THANK YOU to everyone in Florida who made our vacation so much fun! We didn't want to leave, but we are glad to be home and back with Daddy!

Baby Update! Mommy and baby brother are doing great! We officially have a name and are starting to pick out the paint and crib bedding for the nursery! We hope to be finished with the nursery in the next couple of weeks...He will be here in 10 weeks or less! (Can you believe it?!?!) Mommy goes in on Tuesday for her Glucose Screening and then appointments begin every 2 weeks now! It's hard to believe in 2 months I will be a BIG BROTHER! :)

We Have Been Busy!

I am in a BIG BOY BED now!!!
I was so excited the first night! All I wanted to do was bring my books into bed and read! I must have gotten out of bed 30 times the first night, the second night only about 5 and by the third night, I had finally gotten the hang of it and didn't get out of bed at all! I've been doing a great job and mommy and daddy are so proud of me!
On Thursday Grandma and Grandpa Toombs took mommy and I along with Kate and Aunt Jamie, to spend the day at the Plainfield Pool!
We had a BLAST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have not spent a whole lot of time swimming, but Kate is a pro! She takes swimming lessons! I learned some things from her and we did so well!!!
We played and jumped and splashed!
I LOVED spending the day with Kate, Aunt Jamie, Grandma and Grandpa!
THANK YOU for such a great afternoon!
Friday, Mommy and I met Aunt Jamie, Kate and Grandma Cole in Carmel for lunch and some shopping. The weather was gorgeous and we had a another great day together. Mommy and I then went home for a nap and to get Daddy and then we headed off to Avon for dinner with Grandma and Grandpa Cole, Aunt Jamie and Kate. Grandma made a WONDERFUL dinner and we got to spend the evening laughing, talking, and relaxing together. These bunny ears are from my Easter basket from Grandma and Grandpa!
THANK YOU Grandma and Grandpa Cole for a great evening!
Saturday, my Mamaw Black came to visit. We spent the day together and had a nice time shopping and just hanging out.
Mamaw bought me this bubble gun and I LOVE it!
Mamaw also watched me for an hour while mommy and daddy went out for dinner together. They got to enjoy a nice night together and really enjoyed eating without a 2 1/2 year old there!
THANK YOU, Mamaw for a great day!
What else is going on???
Mommy is officially a stay-at-home-mom and we just had our first full week at home! It has been AMAZING and we feel so blessed that we have this opportunity!

Practice Makes Perfect!

I have been doing a lot of practicing with my baby doll in preparation for my little baby brother! This was my mommy's very first baby doll when she was my age!
I have really enjoyed playing with her, holding her, feeding and burping her, and rocking her to sleep at night. Dad is not too happy about me playing with a baby doll, but mom thinks it's okay (for now!)

Growing like a weed!

After church this afternoon we met Grandma and Grandpa Toombs for brunch! They just got back from a business trip to New Orleans and brought me these cool sunglasses and hat! Do I look COOL or what?!?!
(I'm sure Cyrus will despise this picture when he's older but I just couldn't resist sharing)
I have been going in my big boy potty all week long! I'm ready to wear my "Handy Manny Unna-weas!" (aka-Underwear!) I love going in my potty, dancing and highfiving mommy and daddy after my job is done, and getting M&M's as a special treat!

Berkley, Brett and Court came to visit for dinner and playing! We had so much fun and I LOVED playing with Berkley and sharing my toys with her!

Of course, I have been torturing Sunny!
I LOVE music and playing with my guitar! I have started making funny faces while I play guitar! What can I say? I was feeling the beat! :)

Daddy, Mommy and baby brother are doing great! Although mommy has still been having a lot of back pain, she is feeling great! My brother moves around ALL THE TIME and Daddy and I have enjoyed feeling him move in mommy's tummy. We are 6 months along and it's hard to believe in just a few short months our family will be growing from 3 to 4! Also, daddy and mommy have decided that Mommy will be staying at home with me and my little brother. March 25th is her last day of work and then she will become a full time, stay-at-home-mommy! We are all happy about the decision and mommy and I are thrilled to have some special time together before the new baby comes!
That's all the updates we have for now....We'll talk again soon!

Mommy and her boys...minus daddy
Making SILLY faces!
Practicing for Roanoke! :)

We had a busy weekend! We went to Carsen's 2nd birthday party on Saturday! We cannot believe Mr. Carsen is 2 and are so happy we got to spend his birthday with him! Afterwards, Grandma and Grandpa Cole came to get me and I spent the night at their house while mommy and daddy enjoyed an evening out for dinner! I had a BLAST with grandma and grandpa and thank them for letting me stay...[Mom and Dad thank you, too! :) ]
Also, since my last post I have gone through a flu bug (with my first expierience of vomiting (In mommy and daddy's bed non the less!!! Sorry for the details!!!) It was HORRBILE and if you ask me about it I will tell you "I puked in mommy's bed!" At the same time I also had a bad sinus infection that I am still dealing with! Prayers of health would be greatly appreciated!
On a more positive note, we are still deciding on names for my baby brother. Mom and Dad have a few they like but I have decided I LOVE "CYRUS WARREN CHOCOLATE!" Although they are not too sure about it, I think it's rather neat! :) Mommy and brother are doing well!

Catch ya later!

BIG BROTHER!!!

Snakes and snails and puppy dog tails! That's what little boys are made of!
It's certainly what I'm made of!
And I'm sure my BABY BROTHER will be made of the same things!
That's right...IT'S A BOY!!!!!!!
The ultrasound went well and my little brother is growing and developing wonderfully!
We couldn't be happier and can't thank the Lord enough for this wonderful blessing!
Mom sure is outnumbered! :)

What I've been up to:

Dr.'s Visits: I had my very first appointment to see a surgeon at Peyton Manning Children's Hospital! It's nothing too serious, I have a hydro-hernia which may need to be removed in 2-3 months if it doesn't go away on it's own. I did great at my appointment and was such a big boy for the nurse and surgeon. I will keep you posted on my surgery! Please keep me in your prayers!
Surfing the web: I brought my laptop to play with while we waited to see the doctor.
Eating: and my new found love is "CHO-LOC-O-LATE" pudding! (aka chocolate pudding)
Hugging: I love to torture Sunny!Wrestling: Sunny doesn't like it as much as I do!
Playing: I love to decorate daddy with stickers!

I am also very excited to announce that in just 5 short days we will find out if I am going to have a baby brother or baby sister! Mommy's appointment is this Monday (Feburary 1st) and we are sooo anxious to see what's cooking in there! Becides a little back pain, mommy has been feeling great with lots of movement from the baby. Mommy's belly sure is getting B-I-G! :)
We cannot believe this pregnancy is almost halfway over, mommy is trying to enjoy every minute of it!
I will be sure to keep you posted on the gender news!

Merry Christmas!

We had our 3rd Christmas on Christmas Eve morning with Grandma and Grandpa Cole, Aunt Abbie, Aunt Jamie, Uncle Chad, Kate, GiGi and Pap. Can you find me among all of the presents?!?! :)
We had a BLAST together this Christmas...I can only imagine what next year will be like!
"working" on our new laptops!
Christmas carols and candy canes with Grandma!
Later on we traveled to Grandma and Grandpa Toombs' house to have Christmas with them and Uncle Justin! I'm so into trains this year and LOVED playing with this train set that belonged to Uncle Justin when he was my age!

After 2 Christmas celebrations on Christmas Eve, mommy, daddy and I went home to spend the night at our own house! Here I am on Christmas morning, I slept in until about 8:15 and was ready to see what Santa left! My Mamaw Black and Auntie BT also joined us Chrismas morning and we opened gifts and had a wonderful breakfast!
On Sunday we traveled to spend time with Papaw, Grandma and Great Grandpa Black. They got me a motorized Handy Manny 4 wheeler! Although I have been playing with it in the house and using it to travel room to room, I cannot wait to get this thing on the open road...or sidewalk this spring!
We hope everyone had a very Merry and Blessed Christmas!
"Happy Birthday Baby Jesus!"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We went to Aunt Cindy and Uncle Duck's (Doug's) house to celebrate Uncle Duck's birthday! HAPPY BIRTHDAY UNCLE DUCK! We love you!
I had a lot of fun with Steve and the guitar!
We were having dinner in the kitchen and Cy stopped eating mid-bite and said "I hear a guitar!" he jumped off of his chair and ran out of the room! The child is obsessed with guitars, drums, and any other instrument he can get his hands on!
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE music!!!
Playing WII Fit with Julia's help!
