Day at the Track!

Grandpa Cole, Daddy, Mommy and I went to the race track for Pole Day! Although the last time I went to the track I was only 7 months old, I had a BLAST!!!!

Grandpa shared his binoculars so I could get a good look down the stretch!

I had a great time!

We had perfect weather!

Grandpa brought me these really cool earplugs! I looked like SHREK with them in my ears!

"Daddy, I want to see Tony!"
(He was talking about Tony Kanaan, who is one of our favorite drivers who happened to wreck!)
Mommy and Baby Update: Mommy is now going to visit her doctor once a week-which seems incredible that it's moving along this FAST! Things are looking and sounding great, but the doctor said mommy's belly is measuring a little bit big...needless to say, she hope this means an early delivery (as long as the baby is healthy and ready!!!)
I am getting very excited to have a baby brother! I have been asking mommy and daddy a lot of questions about the baby and I am really excited to pass along my crib, glider and many other things...I don't need them anymore because I am such a BIG boy!
Daddy painted the nursery and it looks GREAT! Now all we need is the baby! :)

HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!

Mommy came in to check on me Saturday evening before she went to bed...and this is how she found me! She was sad when she saw me like this because she didn't know if I had fallen asleep like this hours ago or if I fell out of bed or what happened! She ran out to get Daddy and the camera! It was pretty funny and mom and dad got a great laugh! This picture will be shown for years to come! :)
We would like to wish all of the Mothers in our lives a very HAPPY MOTHERS DAY! Our lives are truly blessed because of YOU and we love each and everyone of you for being our mothers, grandmothers, great gradmothers, aunts, cousins, and friends!

Daddy and I took mommy to her favorite restaurant for Mothers Day Lunch! PF Changs!!! YUMMMM! Grandma and Grandpa Cole joined us for a great time!

I love to finger paint!

Mommy and baby update: Mommy had some issues with elevated blood sugar levels and had to go to the hospital to get some blood work done. She was there for 4 hours for a glucose screen and had her blood drawn every hour for 4 draws. We had a bit of trouble getting the results back, but after 3 weeks of waiting, we found out that the tests came back regular and there is no sign of Gestational Diabetes! PRAISE GOD!!!

We are officially 34 weeks this week which means in 6 (OR LESS!!) short weeks, our new addition will be here! Mom has felt good except for getting comfortable to sleep, shortness of breath and HEARTBURN! She is trying to enjoy everything, although she is just ready at this point! We cannot believe how fast this pregnancy has gone and are thankful for good health!!!!

PLEASE pray for the family of 1st Lt. Brandon Barrett who was killed in Afghanistan on Wednesday May 5th, 2010. He was a great friend, a true HERO and will be greatly missed by all of us that were blessed to know him!

Baseball, baseball, baseball!!!

We found the Oscar Mayer Weinermobile!!!
I LOVE hotdogs and couldn't resist the photo opt.
Daddy playes in a baseball league on Sunday afternoons. His team is called the Tigers and I LOVE going to watch them play! Occasionally I'll shout out "You play ball like a girl!!!" (which is one of my favorite quotes from the movie The Sandlot-I however am no longer allowed to watch this movie because of some other not-so-nice quotes that I have picked up along the way!) Those lines being "You're just a bunch of rejects!" and "Shut up, Porter!" and one other that we won't repeat!
Anyway, last Sunday I got to go onto the field and run the bases after the game was over!
"Pitch to me, Grandpa!!!!!"

And I had a blast playing baseball in the sand. THANK YOU to everyone in Florida who made our vacation so much fun! We didn't want to leave, but we are glad to be home and back with Daddy!

Baby Update! Mommy and baby brother are doing great! We officially have a name and are starting to pick out the paint and crib bedding for the nursery! We hope to be finished with the nursery in the next couple of weeks...He will be here in 10 weeks or less! (Can you believe it?!?!) Mommy goes in on Tuesday for her Glucose Screening and then appointments begin every 2 weeks now! It's hard to believe in 2 months I will be a BIG BROTHER! :)

We Have Been Busy!

I am in a BIG BOY BED now!!!
I was so excited the first night! All I wanted to do was bring my books into bed and read! I must have gotten out of bed 30 times the first night, the second night only about 5 and by the third night, I had finally gotten the hang of it and didn't get out of bed at all! I've been doing a great job and mommy and daddy are so proud of me!
On Thursday Grandma and Grandpa Toombs took mommy and I along with Kate and Aunt Jamie, to spend the day at the Plainfield Pool!
We had a BLAST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have not spent a whole lot of time swimming, but Kate is a pro! She takes swimming lessons! I learned some things from her and we did so well!!!
We played and jumped and splashed!
I LOVED spending the day with Kate, Aunt Jamie, Grandma and Grandpa!
THANK YOU for such a great afternoon!
Friday, Mommy and I met Aunt Jamie, Kate and Grandma Cole in Carmel for lunch and some shopping. The weather was gorgeous and we had a another great day together. Mommy and I then went home for a nap and to get Daddy and then we headed off to Avon for dinner with Grandma and Grandpa Cole, Aunt Jamie and Kate. Grandma made a WONDERFUL dinner and we got to spend the evening laughing, talking, and relaxing together. These bunny ears are from my Easter basket from Grandma and Grandpa!
THANK YOU Grandma and Grandpa Cole for a great evening!
Saturday, my Mamaw Black came to visit. We spent the day together and had a nice time shopping and just hanging out.
Mamaw bought me this bubble gun and I LOVE it!
Mamaw also watched me for an hour while mommy and daddy went out for dinner together. They got to enjoy a nice night together and really enjoyed eating without a 2 1/2 year old there!
THANK YOU, Mamaw for a great day!
What else is going on???
Mommy is officially a stay-at-home-mom and we just had our first full week at home! It has been AMAZING and we feel so blessed that we have this opportunity!

Practice Makes Perfect!

I have been doing a lot of practicing with my baby doll in preparation for my little baby brother! This was my mommy's very first baby doll when she was my age!
I have really enjoyed playing with her, holding her, feeding and burping her, and rocking her to sleep at night. Dad is not too happy about me playing with a baby doll, but mom thinks it's okay (for now!)
